To be the best, Rosso Gelato invests heavily in finding the best ingredients in the world. Today one hears a lot about the latest marketing trend to use locally sourced ingredients. Rosso Gelato uses local ingredients when they meet our strict standards -- but not because of a marketing trend. The tough reality, however, is that local fruits have a very small window of optimum quality and flavor. The other reality is that our climate is not the best climate for many fruits and nuts. So instead, Rosso Gelato knows where to go to find the best of the best. It is our forty-plus years of experience in the food industry that has taught us where to find the best products in the world.
Every year we visit Italy to meet with ingredient manufacturers and attend the annual gelato convention in Rimini to make sure we are not missing a beat.
So, whether it is a hard shell almond from Sicily, or a delectable chocolate from Perugia, Rosso Gelato will find it and deliver it to Northeast Ohio.

Rosso's gelato is made with the highest quality ingredients. Our formula results in a product that is exceptionally nutritious. One 3.5 ounce serving averages only 160 calories, has between 4-8% fat, and about 22 grams of carbohydrates. Our flavors use real nuts, chocolate, and fruit, meaning you get all the favorable attributes of these products. A serving of gelato makes an excellent meal replacement as well as an excellent dessert!!
Our chocolate is processed in the Perugia area of Italy. Perugia is the capital of Umbria and is known throughout the world for incredible chocolates.
Our almond gelato is made with 100% Italian almonds. The best almonds on earth are a hard shell variety found in Sicily. If you love almonds, this is a must try flavor.

Our incredible hazelnut, known as nocciola in Italy, is made with hazelnuts from the Piedmonte region of Italy. These nuts are widely known as the best in the world. The gelato is topped with a praline made of hazelnuts and grains in a chocolate sauce.
Our coconut has become a real favorite. It is made with rich, creamy coconut and is topped with a wonderful chocolate and almonds.
Milk, sugar, and cream topped with a wonderful Italian chocolate...this is our lightest and lowest calorie gelato. Stracciatella is made with our cream base and goes well with any flavor. It is fabulous when topped with a bit of Nero sorbetto.
Caramel in milk. Latte is the Italian word for milk... caramelatte is simply our milky, sweet Caramel. It does not contain coffee... a latte is simply a milky coffee.
Rosso's cafe is a real delight. We use real espresso to make this treat... it is great mixed with chocolate or hazelnut.

Rosso's sorbettos are made with fresh fruit and water. They are fat-free and average only 95 calories for a 3.5 ounce serving. Depending on the type of fruit, sugar content ranges from 25-30%, or about 24 grams of carbohydrates per serving.

We use cantaloupes from the West San Joaquin valley of California. This region is well known for having the best cantaloupes in the country. This year was weather challenged...but still the best of the best.

Our pineapple sorbetto is made with fresh Hawaiian pineapple. It has a delicate flavor and is best enjoyed by itself.

Nero is our chocolate sorbetto... it is made with water, not milk. It is thick, dark, and rich -- the ultimate delight for the chocolate lover. Try it over a lighter sorbetto or gelato... a little Nero over our stracciatella is a must try.
